Who knew homemade breadsticks could be so easy! Made with six ingredients (probably in your kitchen already), these breadsticks are buttery and delicious. You could jazz them up even more by sprinkling some garlic salt or Parmesan cheese. Serve with a side of marinara and these are going to disappear in a snap. They'd be tasty dipped in soup, too.

Ingredients For easy butter dips

  • 1/4 c
    unsalted butter
  • 1 1/4 c
    all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp
    sugar
  • 2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 2/3 c
    milk

How To Make easy butter dips

  • Melting butter in a pan in the oven.

    Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Melt butter in a 9x9 glass pan right in the oven while it is preheating.
  • Remaining ingredients mixed together to form a dough.

    Mix all other ingredients together until dough forms.
  • Kneading dough with flour-coated hands.

    Coat hands and dough with a dusting of flour, and knead a few times.
  • Dough pressed into a square.

    Roll or press out into roughly a 8" square.
  • Dough cut in half.

    Cut the square in half.
  • Dough cut into strips.

    Then cut each half into strips.
  • Cutting dough strips in melted butter.

    Lay each strip in the melted butter. Turn each to completely cover with butter.
  • Strips placed in the baking dish.

    Arrange all the strips in the pan. They should be touching, so that's fine.
  • Dough baked until golden brown.

    Bake 15-20 minutes until golden brown. Serve hot!
