1/2 ccornmeal

2 1/2 tspbaking powder

1/2 tspsalt

1/2 tspground mustard (optional)

1/2 cshortening or butter

1/2 cshredded cheddar cheese

1 cmilk
How To Make cornmeal drop biscuits

1In a bowl, combine flour, cornmeal, baking powder, salt and mustard; cut in shortening until crumbly.

2Stir in cheese and milk until just moistened.

3Drop by 1/4 cupfuls 2 inches apart onto a greased baking sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 26-28 minutes or until golden brown.
