cin's "pizza pockets"
(4)
I saw a picture of these, but it had no directions with it. Just 4-sm pix showing how they were assembled.
The name under the photo was Pizza Balls....and my Hubby said "Can you make those".
Sooo, I made them 'my way' and decided to name them "Pizza Pockets".
They turned out delicious. If you try them I think you will like them too.

- GREASE PAN AND PREHEAT OVEN TO 425°F
How To Make cin's "pizza pockets"
-
1Turn oven on to 425°F to preheat
Grease your 6 1/2" X 8 1/2" pan.
Gather all your ingredients, cut the cheese into square cubes and lay out your pepperoni slices.
I used 4 cubes of Smoked Gouda for me and 6 cubes of Colby for my Hubby....figured he'd eat more than me. -
2Open the can of biscuits and flaten them.
-
3Put some pizza sauce on the top side of the flattened biscuit.
-
4Start stacking....place one slice of pepperoni on the biscuit, top it with a cheese cube and then another slice of pepperoni on top.
-
5Fold the sides of the biscuit into the middle and pinch together.
-
6Then place them seam side down into the greased pan.
-
7First I sprayed "I can't believe it's not butter" on the tops then I sprinkled garlic salt/parsley mix and the Scilian seasoning over the tops.
-
8Looking pretty good...but I decided that was not enough.
-
9Sooo, I sprinkled on some chives, cilantro and Dutch poppy seeds.
Then put them into the oven to bake, they were done in 19 minutes. -
10When finished baking I removed from the oven and sprinkled Parmesan cheese over the tops.
-
11Pour some pizza sauce in a dish for dipping and plate a couple of the pockets...dig in and Enjoy.
P.S. These would be good using any number of dips.
Try pizza sauce, ketchup, ranch dressing, dijon mustard or even cheese dip. - Last Step: Don't forget to share!
