Ingredients For butter biscuits

  • 2 1/2 c
    flour
  • 4 tsp
    baking powder
  • 4 tsp
    sugar
  • 2 tsp
    salt
  • 2 c
    buttermilk
  • 1/2 c
    butter

How To Make butter biscuits

  • 1
    Mix the flour, baking powder, sugar and salt together. Pour in the buttermilk and mix well.

    Melt the butter and pour into a 9x9 baking pan. Preheat oven 450 degrees.

    Spoon the bread mixture on top of the butter. Do not stir it in. Make sure the butter doesn't spill over.

    Bake for 20 to 25 minutes. Cut into 9 pieces.
