Love broccoli, love biscuits so this is a win win biscuit. Slathered with butter. Great addition to go along with a fish fry. Yummy!!

Ingredients For broccoli cheddar cheese biscuits

  • 2 1/2 c
    self-rising corn meal
  • 1/4 c
    all purpose flour
  • 2
    eggs
  • 2 c
    buttermilk
  • 2 c
    broccoli chopped (semi cooked for 1 minute in micro)
  • 1/4 c
    onion, chopped fine
  • 1 c
    sharp shredded cheese
  • add some crisp bacon pieces in for all the bacon lovers

How To Make broccoli cheddar cheese biscuits

    Pre-heat oven to 425. Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl with a spoon. Spray muffin tin with cooking spray or for you southern gals add a little bacon grease and wipe around edges.

    Cook 25-30 minutes until golden brown on top. Let cool about 8 minutes.
