blueberry lemon scones

I made these this morning. I was going to make my other scones that I have posted on here but I was out of butter and eggs UGH!!! So I made do with what I had LOL. And they tuned out TASTY!! Enjoy!!

Ingredients For blueberry lemon scones

2 cflour
-
3 Tbspbrown sugar

2 tspbaking powder

1/2 tspbaking soda

1/2 tspsalt

lemon zest, grated from 1 lemon

1/4 cshortening
-
8 ozsour cream
-
2 Tbspcream
-
1 cblueberries, frozen
How To Make blueberry lemon scones

1Mix flour, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt and lemon zest in a bowl.

2cut in shorting until crumbly add blueberries and stir to coat, make a well in the flour mixture add sour cream and cream mix until dough starts to form

3turn ot onto floured surface and fold a few times to make a disk out of the dough, pat into a 7 inch disk and cut into 12 wedges, place on baking sheet an inch apart and bake at 400 for 10 to 15 minutes or until lightly browned

4cool for 5 minutes and then glaze with a lemon glaze. I use 1 cup of powder sugar and the juice of a lemon, add juice to the powder sugar slowly until a consistency for drizzling
