INGREDIENTS
1 1/4 cups (5 oz) cake flour*
3/4 teaspoon baking powder
12 ounces (3 sticks) unsalted butter
2 ounces (1/4 block) cream cheese, softened
4 ounces bittersweet chocolate, chopped fine (or high-quality chips)
7 tablespoons cocoa powder (not Dutch process)
2 tablespoons Oreo-type cocoa powder**
1 teaspoon fine sea salt
2 1/4 cups Imperial Sugar Extra Fine Granulated Sugar
1 tablespoon good quality balsamic vinegar (can be flavored)
4 large eggs
3/4 cup good quality strawberry jam
1 1/2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
*Spoon & Sweep method: Use a spoon to fill measuring cup with flour until required amount is obtained. Scooping measuring cup directly into flour bag will firmly pack flour resulting in too much flour required for recipe.
