3 tbsp vegetable oil
2 onions, chopped
1 carrot, chopped
1 rib celery with leaves, chopped
3 cloves garlic, smashed and minced
2 14 1/2 cans beef broth
1 bottle dark beer
3 - 4 tbsp flour
