My mother made this recipe originally from her mother.

Ingredients For shepard's pie
- MEAT MIXTURE

1 lbground beef
-
1 mdonion,chopped
-
to tastesalt and pepper
-
15 ozpeas, canned
-
flour/water mixture for thickening

1 1/2 tspworcestershire sauce
-
margarine dots
-
paprika
- FOR MASHED POTATOES
-
6 lgpotatoes, peeled
-
milk
-
margarine
-
to tastesalt and pepper
How To Make shepard's pie

1Brown ground beef with onion, drain fat
-
2Add salt, pepper, can of peas including pea juice.

3Make flour/water mixture for thickening, add to meat mixture, then add Worcestershire sauce.

4Make mashed potatoes

5Line a 2 qt casserole with mashed potatoes about an inch thick on bottom and sides

6Pour in meat mixture
-
7Top with the rest of the mashed potatoes, Dot the top with margarine and paprika
-
8Bake at 350 for 15-20 minutes
