INGREDIENTS

3/4 C low sugar ketchup (I used Heinz Low Sugar– it’s 1g/carbs per 2 T)

1/2 C pureed tomatoes (I used canned diced tomatoes pureed in the food processor)
•
2 T Worcestershire sauce (check labels– some brands contain HFCS!)
•
1 1/2 T rendered nitrate-free bacon fat
•
1 T hot sauce (or more if you like it spicy)
•
1 1/2 T natural yellow mustard
•
1/2 C apple cider vinegar
•
1/3 C Swerve (or sweetener of choice–add more if you like it really sweet)
•
1 T raw honey (or honey substitute–optional)
•
3/4 tsp. garlic powder
•
3/4 tsp. dried onion flakes (or 1/2 tsp. onion powder)
•
1/8 tsp. red pepper flakes
•
3/4 tsp. chili powder
•
1/4 tsp. salt
•
1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
