2 cloves garlic, minced
3 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
2 cups half-and-half or light cream
2 teaspoons snipped fresh rosemary or 1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary, crushed
1 teaspoon salt
