1 large onion (or 2 small), chopped
2-4 few garlic cloves, minced
2-4 swiss chard stalks (leaves only), chopped
2 tsp dried basil (or a comparable amout of fresh)
2 tsp sea salt
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp hot sauce
1/3 c flour
6 c chicken broth
12-16 small to medium sized potatoes, peeled, cubed
2 c of half ‘n half
shredded cheese, as desired
crumbled bacon, as desired
chopped green onions, as desired
