This is a recipe that I put together. I have put this into very small pans at Christmas time to give to friends and family. Depending on the size of the loaves, will depend on how long to bake this-it can take as long as an hour to bake. To make this whole wheat, just substitute one cup of whole wheat flour for the regular flour.

Ingredients For pumpkin bread

  • 1 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp
    nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp
    ginger
  • 1/4 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 3/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1 2/3 c
    flour, sifted
  • 1/2 c
    milk
  • 2
    eggs
  • 1/2 c
    oil, cooking
  • 1 1/2 c
    pumpkin(canned)

How To Make pumpkin bread

    Mix all dry ingredients in a mixing bowl.

    Add, milk, eggs, oil and pumpkin- on low speed,mix until well blended
  • 3
    Prepare pans (grease then flour). If you do not, you will not be able to get the bread out.
