Ingredients: Scone Dough:; 2 cups all purpose flour; 1/2 cup granulated white sugar; 1 teaspoon baking powder; 1/4 teaspoon salt; 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, cold and cut into pieces ( I grated the butter); 2 large eggs, divided; 1/2 cup milk, divided; 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract; Filling:; 1 pound Granny Smith Apples, peeled, cored, and cut into 1 inch chunks ( I used 3 medium size Gala Apples); 2-3 tablespoons granulated white sugar; 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon; Garnish:; Granulated white sugar (or Decorator’s Sugar)
