INGREDIENTS

Scone Dough:
•
2 cups all purpose flour
•
1/2 cup granulated white sugar
•
1 teaspoon baking powder
•
1/4 teaspoon salt
•
1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, cold and cut into pieces ( I grated the butter)
•
2 large eggs, divided
•
1/2 cup milk, divided
•
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
•
Filling:
•
1 pound Granny Smith Apples, peeled, cored, and cut into 1 inch chunks ( I used 3 medium size Gala Apples)
•
2-3 tablespoons granulated white sugar
•
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
•
Garnish:
•
Granulated white sugar (or Decorator’s Sugar)
