INGREDIENTS
Cupcake
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup Imperial Sugar Extra Fine Granulated Sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 egg or 2 egg whites
1 3/4 cups sifted white or whole wheat flour + 1 tablespoon reserved for filling*
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 cup milk
1 tablespoon cinnamon for filling
1/2 cup packed Imperial Sugar Light Brown Sugar
1/4 cup melted butter
Cooked applewood smoked bacon pieces/bits
3 medium sized Granny Smith apples, sauteed
Frosting
8 ounces reduced fat cream cheese
2 cups Imperial Sugar Confectioners Powdered Sugar
1 tablespoon pure maple syrup
*Spoon & Sweep method: Use a spoon to fill measuring cup with flour until required amount is obtained. Scooping measuring cup directly into flour bag will firmly pack flour resulting in too much flour required for recipe.
