-
2 pkgmushroom caps/ mushroom pieces
-
1 pkgitalian sausage, sweet
-
1 boxprepared stuffing mix
-
3 Tbspburgundy wine
-
1 cblue cheese
How To Make whos the boss
-
1Wash and cut up mushrooms, Save the large cap part of the Mushrooms (because thats the part you will be stuffing. Cut up the stems of the fresh mushrooms and chop them up into fine pieces (use them to make a meatball type form for your mushrooms),Fry up Italian Sausage and break the sausage down into small pieces (drain when browned and done-set aside), Prepare your Stuffing Mix (boxed or scratch is fine...boxed is a short cut however) you can also add some personal spices or Onion/garlic. Add Wine to the mix instead of water suggested on the stuffing box. Final step is to prepare the Blue Cheese and add to the Mushroom piece ball OR place pieces on top.

2Mix the ingredients together and stuff into the Mushroom cap itself. Again if youd like add the blue cheese to taste. Remember this is in a pinch with little notice kind of Recipie. Place your Mushroom Stuffed Caps onto a Cookie Sheet and Bake at 350 until the mushrooms look done by eye. They will be a little bit watery and that okay at the bottom. Trust me they will WISH that you made MORE!! You can change up the ingredients and use diffrent stuffers such as different cheeses or wines or fillers. They are a HIT at any Holiday gathering any time of the year!! But show them whos the Boss of the Kitchen!!! Bake times may vary and its not a Microwave option. You want the slow bake so that all ingredients are soaked into the Mushroom tops! If you are in a HURRY Broil them for about 15 mins! Enjoy!!
