Ingredients For warm mushroom spread, barb

  • 4 slice
    bacon
  • 8 oz
    mushrooms, chopped (about 3 cups)
  • 1 md
    onion, finely chopped
  • 1 clove
    garlic, minced
  • 2 Tbsp
    flour
  • 1/8 tsp
    freshly ground black pepper
  • 8 oz
    cream cheese, cubed
  • 2 Tbsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp
    soy sauce
  • 1/2 c
    sour cream
  • 1 tsp
    fresh lemon juice
  • cocktail crackers

How To Make warm mushroom spread, barb

  • 1
    Cook bacon in large skillet until crisp over med heat. Transfers to small bowl, cover and set aside. Pour off all but 2 tablespoons drippings from skillet. Add mushrooms, onion and garlic to skillet and saute over med high heat until liquid evaporates. Stir in flour, pepper, mix well. Add cream cheese, and remaining, mix well. Serve with crackers.
