Okay here we go… this is an appetizer that we all know and love… tomato and mozzarella, but with a twist. We’re going to use some balsamic pearls to enhance the dish, and put it into another dimension… It’s easy peasy and gives great presentation. So, you ready… let’s get into the kitchen.

Ingredients For tomato & mozzarella with balsamic pearls

1 lgtomato
-
8 ozmozzarella cheese, cut into four slices

1 tspdried, ground basil
-
1 Tbspolive oil, extra virgin

1 Tbspbalsamic pearls
How To Make tomato & mozzarella with balsamic pearls

1Gather your ingredients.

2Place a rack in the middle position, and preheat the oven to 450f (232c).

3Cut the tomato into four slices.

4Add a piece of mozzarella and a bit of dried basil to the first slice.

5Repeat for the other slices.

6Place in the preheated oven for 10 minutes.

7Remove and garnish with the balsamic pearls, olive oil and additional basil. Enjoy.
