Ingredients For sweet-hot mushroom appetizer, barb

  • 12 lg
    mushrooms, stems removed
  • 3 oz
    cream cheese, at room temp
  • 6 slice
    bacon, cut in half
  • 1/2 c
    pineapple preserves
  • 1/2 c
    apple jelly
  • 2 Tbsp
    horseradish
  • 1 Tbsp
    dry mustard

How To Make sweet-hot mushroom appetizer, barb

    Preheat broiler. Fill mushroom caps evenly with cream cheese. Wrap each mushroom with 1/2 slice bacon and secure with toothpicks. Arrange cream cheese side down on baking sheet. Broil until bacon is crisp about 5 min. Turn mushrooms over and continue broiling until second side is crisp. Meanwhile, combine remaining ingredients in small bowl and blend thoroughly. Serve mushrooms hot, passing sauce separately.
