I dehydrate my own home grown tomatoes. I put them in wide mouth jars, add 3-4 cloves of garlic, good olive oil to cover; and can in hot water bath for 10 min.

Ingredients For sun dried tomato paste/butter

    cube of unsalted butter
  • 3 - 4 Tbsp
    chopped sun dried tomatoes in oil (homemade or store bought)

How To Make sun dried tomato paste/butter

    Put sun-dried tomatoes & butter in food processor or blender until blended into a paste. Keep in covered jar in refrigerator for 2 weeks; or freeze in ice cube trays with a pattern.

    Will soften quickly. Great on baguettes or meat.
