This is a very good appetizer my Ex and I use to take to all of our potlucks and super bowl parties, the dish is empty before you know it and everyone always asked for the recipe and he would never give it up but I'm not with him no more so here it is ....LOL These are delicious warm or cold. If you have any mixture left over its a great dip also !! Note : This makes alot of stuffed mushrooms and you can easily half this recipe.

Ingredients For stuffed mushrooms

16oz. pkgsour cream
-
16oz pkgcream cheese
-
1/2 tspsalt & pepper
-
1/2 tsppaparika
-
3/4 tspgarlic salt
-
1 tspparsley
-
1 lbbacon (fryed crisp & finely crumbled)

1 mdonion ( finely chopped )
-
2 to 3 lbsmall button mushrooms (or more depending on size)
How To Make stuffed mushrooms

1Cook bacon until extra crispy and crumb up really fine ; reserving 2 TBS. of the bacon grease.

2WHISK TOGETHER THE SOUR CREAM , CREAM CHEESE UNTIL SMOOTH AND CREAMY. THEN SPICE WITH : SALT, PEPPER , PAPRIKA , GARLIC SALT , PARSLEY .

3ADD THE FINELY CHOPPED ONIONS , CRUMBLED BACON AND THE RESERVED BACON FAT.

4LIGHTLY CLEAN THE MUSHROOMS WITH A WET KITCHEN TOWEL ( DON'T SOAK IN WATER TO WASH THE MUSHROOMS )

5REMOVE STEMS AND CORE OUT A SMALL HOLE IN THE MUSHROOMS FOR THE MIXTURE ; LIGHTLY OIL YOUR HANDS AND GREASE UP THE MUSHROOMS.

6STUFF SMALL BUTTON MUSHROOMS AND PLACE ON A COOKIE SHEET. ( ITS ALRIGHT IF THEY TOUCH EACH OTHER )

7BAKE : 350° FOR 30-45 MIN ON THE CENTER OVEN RACK.

8NOTE : 1/2 WAY THROUGH THE COOKING TIME IF THERE IS ANY JUICE/WATER THAT HAS SEEPED FROM THE MUSHROOMS , CAREFULLY POUR IT OFF AND CONTINUE TO COOK TELL DONE and LIGHTLY BROWN ON TOP.
