Ingredients For spinich feta strata

  • 1
    french bread loaf
  • 6
    eggs
  • 1 1/2 c
    milk
  • 1 pkg
    frozen chopped spinich, thawed and sqeezed dry
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    pepper
  • 6-8 oz
    shredded monterey jack cheese
  • 6 oz
    feta cheese crumbled

How To Make spinich feta strata

  • 1
    Grease a 13x9x2 inch baking dish, arrange sliced bread in dish overlapping if necessary. In bowl, combine eggs. milk, spinach, salt and pepper. Pour over bread. Sprinkle with cheeses. Cover and refrigerate for 8 hours or overnight.

    Remove from refrigerator 30 minutes before baking. Bake uncovered @ 350 for 40-45 minutes or until lightly browned. Serve warm.
