Always a favorite at parties. The recipe came off the back of a Knorr Vegetable Soup Mix box. It is really pretty to serve in a hollowed out round loaf of bread. Even spinach-haters like this dip!

Ingredients For spinach dip

1 pkgfrozen spinach, thawed and drained well

1 bunchgreen onions, chopped

16 ozsour cream

1 chellman's mayonnaise

1 pkgknorr vegetable soup mix

1 canwater chestnuts, drained and chopped
How To Make spinach dip

1Thaw spinach and drain well. Literally squeeze as much water out of the spinach as possible; until it is almost dry.

2Mix all the ingredients together and chill overnight.

3Serve with crackers or Frito scoops.

4Variation: Instead of water chestnuts, peel and chop a green apple. Gives you the texture of the water chestnuts, but a tangy taste. Thanks, Rene, for this tip.
