A neighbor came to my rescue one summer when I'd planted more cucumbers than I could eat. Now we have them whether I garden or not. So easy!

-
1 cvinegar (either white or apple cider)
-
1 tspcelery seed
-
2/3 csugar
-
1/2 cchopped onion
-
1 1/2 tspsalt
How To Make refrigerator sweet pickles
-
1Combine cukes, peppers, onions, and celery seed in layers to help distribute flavor in a quart jar. Combine the rest of the ingredients and pour over cucumber mixture.
-
2Refrigerate for at least one hour before eating, overnight is better.
-
3When there is room in the jar you can simply add more cucumbers to make more pickles. I can get 2 or 3 rounds out of the vinegar before it gets too watered down to give good flavor.
