Ingredients For ~ popeye bars ~ savory good!

  • 2 - 10 oz
    frozen chopped spinach - cooked and drained
  • 4
    beaten, eggs
  • 1 bag
    success rice - cooked
  • 1/2 c
    minced onion
  • 1/4 c
    melted, butter
  • 2/3 c
    milk
  • 1/2 tsp
    each - nutmeg & thyme
  • 1 1/2 - 2 tsp
    salt
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp
    dry parsley
  • 1 tsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 2 c
    shredded, cheddar cheese

How To Make ~ popeye bars ~ savory good!

    Preheat oven to 350 degree F. Grease a 9 x 13 baking dish. Set aside. In a large bowl, beat eggs well, add salt, parsley, thyme, onion, worcestershire sauce, nutmeg, butter, milk and stir well to combine. Fold in the spinach, rice and cheese, making sure its well combined.

    Spread mixture evenly into prepared dish. Bake for 40 - 45 minutes, or until set and no longer jiggly. Cut into squares and enjoy!
