I first served this delicious dip about 9 years ago at a porch party that I had in my new neighborhood. You definitely don’t have to have a party or gathering to enjoy this heart-warming pizza dip. I like to have it when I am watching a movie, ballgame or just when I want a warm snack. I have family & friends who are meat-eaters, and some who don’t eat meat; I have several recipes that can either be vegetarian for those who don’t eat meat, or contain meat for the meat-eaters. This is such a recipe; I have included variations if you want to add meat. However -all enjoy this version.

AN AFTER THOUGHT -BUT A GOOD ONE: If you have left-overs (and unless you make it for just you, you probably won't), this is very good to have for lunch the next day served over noodles and accompanied by a small salad.
