oven-fried zucchini sticks

We need to start cooking some of those zucchini, right? Pick them when they are just about 4 inches. You know they grow fast so be quick and vigilant. This is really good! Even the kids will love them!

Ingredients For oven-fried zucchini sticks

  • 3 med
    or a bunch small zucchini
  • 1/4 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 2 tbs
    parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup
    italian bread crumbs
  • 1
    egg
  • 1/4 cup
    milk

How To Make oven-fried zucchini sticks

    Spray cookie sheet with oil.

    Preheat oven to 450.
  • 3
    Put 1/2 cup bread crumbs, garlic powder, and cheese in a plastic food storage bag and shake well to combine.

    Cut each zucchini lengthwise, cut each piece in half horizontally.

    Beat egg and milk in shallow bowl. Dip each zucchini stick and drop it into the bag of bread crumbs. Shake until well coated. Place onto cookie sheet. Repeat for each zucchini stick.

    Bake for 10-15 minutes. Serve with ranch dressing or warm spaghetti sauce.
