This is a very good recipe given to me by my sister-in-law. I make it every summer when we have extra okra.

Ingredients For okra pickles

3 1/2 lbsmall okra pods (not more than 3-4

1//3 csalt

5small hot peppers

2 tspdill seeds

5garlic bud

1 qtwater

1 ptapple cider vinegar
How To Make okra pickles

1Pack raw Okra firmly into hot jars, leaving a 1/4" headspace. Put garlic bud and a hot pepper into each jar of okra. Mix salt, water, vinegar and dill seed into a pot and bring to a boil. Pour hot mixture into jars over okra. Adjust caps. Process 15 minutes in boiling water. Start timing when they start boiling. Yields 4-5 pints.
