Always loved hummus and got sick of paying for pre made. Not to mention I know what's in it. No preservatives. Quick easy yummy. Serve with pita bread or bagel pita chips.

Ingredients For hummus

1 cangarbanzo beans aka chic peas

2 clovegarlic

1/2 tspsalt

1 Tbspolive oil

1/2lemon juiced
How To Make hummus

1Drain garbanzo beans reserving 1/4 c of liquid

2Place beans garlic oil salt lemon juice and 1/2 of reserved garbanzo water into blender and blend until smooth. You can add a bit more of the reserved garbanzo water to make it the consistency desired.

3Optional get creative and add roasted red peppers or saffron or other flavor you enjoy.
