This recipe is always a hit. I serve it with homemade Pita Chips

Ingredients For gyro dip

  • 2 c
    sour cream
  • 2 c
    mayonnaise
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    dill, dried
  • 1 md
    cucumber ( chopped)
  • 1 pkg
    steak um's (7 steaks pack) (cooked and chopped)
  • 1 box
    cherry tomatoes (sliced)
  • 1 sm
    red onion (chopped)
  • 1 can
    black olives (sliced)
  • 1 c
    feta cheese

How To Make gyro dip

    Mix together sour cream and mayo. Spread on a platter or place in a 9 x 13 dish.

    Top with dill, feta and cucumber. Place steak um on and then red onion cherry tomatoes and black olives.

    Chill for at least and hour. Serve with Pita Chips

    I make my pita chips by cutting them into strips about 5 strips per bread. Then cut the strips into about a 1 to 1/2 " piece. I then fry them in oil. First batch takes a little longer while the other batches tend to cook much quicker. Place in a bowl with paper towel. Sprinkle each batch wth dill, Parmesan cheese and garlic salt.
