This recipe is from Church Suppers. Garlic and butter combine to create a great stuffed mushroom.

Ingredients For garlic butter mushrooms

2 dozen large mushrooms

1/2 cup butter, melted

2 garlic cloves, minced

2 shallots, minced

1/2 cup minced parsley

juice of 1/2 lemon

1/2 tsp. salt

1/4 tsp. black pepper
How To Make garlic butter mushrooms

1Preheat oven to 400. Clean mushrooms, removing stems.

2In blender or food processor, mix the butter, garlic, shallots, and parsley. Blend.

3Add lemon juice, salt and pepper and blend briefly again. Put the mushrooms cap side up in a shallow baking dish. Fill each mushroom with a dollop of garlic butter mixture, about 1/2 to 1 tsp. each.

4Bake for 10 to 12 minutes.
