Ingredients For fried pickled okra
- DRY INGREDIENTS

1 jarpickled okra spears, regular or spicy

1 call-purpose flour

1/4 ccornmeal
-
1 tspsalt

1/2 tspgarlic powder

1/2 tsppepper

pinchcayenne pepper
- WET INGREDIENTS

2eggs
-
1/2 cmilk
-
1 Tbsppickle juice
-
1 bottlevegetable oil
How To Make fried pickled okra

1Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 375 degrees.

2Pull okra out of the jar and place on a paper towel-lined plate.

3In one bowl, mix the egg, milk, and pickle juice. In a second bowl mix the dry ingredients

4Dredge the okra in the flour mixture.

5Next, dredge them in the wet ingredients.

6Then dredge the okra back into the flour mixture.

7Place the okra in the heated oil and fry for 5-6 minutes until golden brown.

8Drain on a paper towel-lined plate and sprinkle with salt.
