These appetizers are simple but delicious. You can top them with basil or parsley and use Mozzarella instead of parmesan. Makes alot or as little as you need.

    loaf baguette-style french bread
  • 1 or 2
    roma or any kind of plum tomatoes
  • parmesan cheese, grated
  • salt & pepper
  • garlic powder
  • olive oil

How To Make fresh tomato parmesan appetizer

  • 1
    Cut the bread into thin slices with a sharp serrated knife. On each slice, place one thin slice of tomato, grated parmesan, salt & pepper to taste, and a dash of garlic powder.

    Drizzle with small amount of olive oil over the tops. Broil until warm and the cheese is heated, so watch closely not to burn. Serve warm.
