This guacamole is super easy and can be made just prior to serving or can wait covered in the fridge for several hours ahead of time.

Ingredients For fresh guacamole

  • 3
    not quite soft avocados. too firm and they taste piney, too soft and this tastes ok, but it is mushy. diced
  • 1/2 sm
    sweet onion or 1 bunch green onions or 1/4 spanish onion. diced
  • 2
    fresh tomatoes, diced
  • 1 - 2 Tbsp
    fresh squeezed lemon juice. bottled is ok and you can also substitute lime

How To Make fresh guacamole

    Put all diced veggies in a bowl and season to taste with salt and pepper and sprinkle with lemon or lime juice and stir. Cover with air tight lid and chill. The citrus will keep the avocado from turning brown for quite awhile. Serve with you favorite chips or add to tacos, burritos etc. Enjoy
