1yellow or white onion

1bay leaf

1 tspthyme, dried

1 Tbspbutter

1beef bullion cube
-
1/2 cwater
-
1 boxathens phyllo shells

salt & pepper

guyere cheese grated
How To Make french onion soup bites

1Preheat oven 350

2Melt butter in large pan over medium heat.Add slices onions,bay leaf and thyme.Carmelize onion about 10 min.Dissolve boullion cube in 1/2 C.water and add to pan to deglaze.Remove bay leaf.Fill each cup with mixture and bake in oven for 10-12 min.Sprinkle each cup with grated cheese and broil just until melted.Or you can just put it back into the hot oven.
