I played in a Bunco group for many years - this recipe came from one of the hostesses. The slightly sweet, slightly spicy, slightly crunchy taste all wrapped up in smooth cream cheese is quite tasty. Goes great with Triscuit crackers.

Ingredients For corn pecan dip

  • 1 pkg
    cream cheese, 8 oz., softened
  • 2 tsp
    ground cumin
  • 1/2 tsp
    cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • dash
    pepper
  • 16 oz
    corn frozen and thawed, or canned and drained
  • 1/4 c
    canola oil
  • 1 c
    pecans, chopped
  • 1 sm
    onion, fine dice

    Mix it all up well. Serve with crackers or tortilla chips.
