This is a Spanish recipe and is often served as tapas, but can also be a side dish. Easy to make and pretty darned tasty! My mom used to add a splash of sherry.

1 lbmushrooms, stems trimmed

2 tspunsalted butter

6 clovegarlic, minced

2 Tbspflat-leaf parsley, minced

2 Tbspbread crumbs

salt & pepper
How To Make champiñones salteados - sauteed mushrooms

1Wash the mushrooms and dry well. Cut in half.

2In a large skillet, melt the butter. Add the mushrooms, garlic and parsley. Saute over medium high heat until the mushrooms are lightly browned.

3Add the bread crumbs, then salt and pepper to taste.
