I always had a passion for Homemade Salsa. While visiting a Mexican Restaurant, I fell in love with their Salsa. I used my taste buds to discover the ingredients, and came up with my own recipe. Well let me tell you what, mine came out so delicious, I just had to share, once you try it, you will be hooked! ENJOY!

Ingredients For barbies homemade fire roasted salsa

    roma tomatoes
  • 2 md
    onions
  • 1 lg
    jalapenos, fresh
  • 1/2 c
    chopped cilantro
  • 4 clove
    large garlic
  • 1
    juice of 1 lime
  • salt?
  • fresh ground black pepper, good amount

    Start with peppers, char on grill, place in ziploc, seal 10 min.in steam Then peel & deseed, chop coarsley. You can sub jalapenos for serrano's, (my favorite)

    Cut oinios in half, peel paper off & char on grill, chop coarsley & set with peppers.

    Tomatoes, I rub them with oil, then char them till black, I mean black...Remove core & chop.

    Now, everything goes in the food processor, be sure to add all the juice's accumlated. Pulse until it reaches a nice chunky consistency. Put Salsa into a large bowl & add lime juice, cilantro, salt to taste & a good amount of fresh ground black pepper. Taste, add more lime juice if you'd like... ENJOY...
