How To Make 10 minute caprese salad appetizer
-
1Wash and then gently pat tomatoes dry with paper towels. Slice each tomato into halves or thirds depending on how big and what shape they are. Arrange into rows so the tomatoes are slightly overlapping.
-
2In a small bowl, combine your olive oil and basil paste. Stir until well blended, and then drizzle evenly over tomatoes.
-
3Pour your vinegar into the same bowl you just used for the basil oil (no need to create more dishes!). Drizzle vinegar lightly and evenly over tomatoes. Give the whole plate a sprinkling of flaked salt.
-
4Put your mozzarella pearls into a bowl (you could theoretically cut a larger ball of mozzarella yourself but the pre-packaged pearls are a great time saver) and nestle the bowl of mozzarella onto the plate with the tomatoes. Et voila!! A lovely, colorful dish that comes together in a flash.
