Ingredients For thai dim sum scallops

  • 24
    scallops in a half shell
  • 2 Tbsp
    soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp
    shaoxing wine or dry sherry
  • 1 Tbsp
    oyster sauce
  • 1 stalk
    lemongrass minced or 1 tsp lemongrass paste
  • 1 Tbsp
    thai chili paste
  • 3 Tbsp
    brown sugar
  • 2 tsp
    lime juice
  • 1 tsp
    ginger grated
  • 2 clove
    garlic minced
  • 1 tsp
    sesame oil
  • 2
    scallions chopped
  • thai basil for garnish

How To Make thai dim sum scallops

  • 1
    Preheat oven 350 degrees. Place a scallop in each shell or you could use a muffin pan. Mix the remaining ingredients except for Thai basil together and pour over the scallops.

    Bake the scallops for 10 minutes. Then turn the broiler on and broil for about 3 minutes. Serve garnished with Thai basil
