This is a rich and decadent cheese ball that packs a punch with all the flavors that compliment seafood.

Ingredients For spicy seafood ball

  • 1/4 c
    good quality crab meat
  • 1/4 c
    chopped cooked shrimp
  • 1/4 c
    chopped lobster meat or crawfish tails
  • 2 pkg
    cream cheese, room temperature
  • 1/4 c
    ketchup
  • 1 Tbsp
    horseradish
  • 1 Tbsp
    old bay, or favorite seafood seasoning
  • 1 1/2 c
    crushed oyster crackers
  • 1/4 c
    prepared cocktail sauce

How To Make spicy seafood ball

  • 1
    Combine all ingredients except Oyster crackers and reserved cocktail sauce. Form into two balls and cover with wax paper to refrigerate. ** For extra "kick" a dash of hot sauce can be added to the cheese mixture ** For extra crunch, chopped celery, onion or green onion can be added.

    Just before serving-Roll cheese Balls in Crushed Oyster crackers.

    Serve cheese balls on decorative platter with a variety of crackers. Add a side dish of cocktail sauce for guests to add if they prefer.
