Very easy and delicious use of fresh wild shrimp. THAI flavor and spicy. Stir fried and served hot over shredded cabbage.

Ingredients For spicy garlic and pepper shrimp

8 to 10 lgfresh shrimp, peeled and de-veined (26 to 30 size)

2-1/2 Tbspcanola or vegetable oil

1/4 cwater

1 cshredded cabbage or cole slaw mix

1 Tbspminced garlic
-
2 tspcrushed red pepper flakes

1/2 mdthinly sliced onion
-
1 Tbspfresh cilantro, chopped

1 Tbspsoy sauce
How To Make spicy garlic and pepper shrimp

1Heat 1 Tablespoon oil in a skillet over high heat. Add cabbage and 1 Tablespoon water. Stir fry for 30 seconds.

2Remove cabbage from skillet and place on a serving platter.

3Heat the remaining 1-1/2 Tablespoons oil in the skillet over high heat. Place the garlic and shrimp in the skillet and stir fry until garlic is lightly browned and shrimp turns pink. Add pepper flakes, onion, cilantro, soy sauce and remaining water to the skillet.

4Stir-fry for 10 seconds. Pour the hot mixture onto the cabbage.
