smoked salmon delights

These are a really easy and delicious appetizer for anytime of the year! I'll post a pic next time I make them. Enjoy!

Ingredients For smoked salmon delights

1french baguette

1 smred onion

2-3 Tbspsugar

2-3 Tbspbalsamic vinegar

1 smcontainer of marscapone cheese

1 pkgsmoked salmon
-
1 smjar of capers
-
fresh chives diced for garnish

1/2fresh lemon
How To Make smoked salmon delights

1Slice Bread into 1/2" slices, brush with olive oil and toast until lightly brown, let cool.

2Heat a non-stick pan and thinly slice red onion, add the 2 tbls. of sugar and cook on very low until they are soft and carmelized, add balsamic vinegar at end and set aside.

3For each slice of toasted bread spread spread a thin layer of marscapone cheese, carmelized onions and salmon. Garnish with capers and diced chives. Then give a squeeze of lemon over them. Enjoy!
