I have no idea where this recipe came from. My brother-in-law started making this years ago for our family gatherings. It has become a family favorite and has been passed down for at least 25 years.

Ingredients For shrimp butter

1 stickbutter (do not use margarine)

1 pkg8 oz pkg philadelphia cream cheese

2 Tbsplemon juice

2 Tbspmayonnaise

1 Tbspminced onions

1 or 2 cansmall cans of tiny shrimp

1 oz6oz frozen tiny shrimp
How To Make shrimp butter

1after the butter and cream cheese is room temperature, cream them together.

2add the lemon juice, mayonnaise and minced onions.

3Drain and add either 2 cans of tiny shrimp or 1 can of tiny shrimp and a 6 oz bag of frozen tiny shrimp Chill and serve with assorted crackers
