Ingredients For seviche (flounder or sole appetizer) cape cod

  • 1 lb
    fillet of flounder or sole
  • lemon juice to cover fish
  • 1/2
    onion chopped
  • 1 clove
    garlic, pressed
  • 3 Tbsp
    chopped parsley
  • 3 Tbsp
    olive oil
  • 2
    canned green chilis, chopped
  • 1/4 tsp
    oregano
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1
    ripe avocado, diced

How To Make seviche (flounder or sole appetizer) cape cod

  • 1
    Cut fish fillets into small cubes. Place fish in a glass bowl and cover with lemon juice. Let stand in refrigerator for at least 8 hours or overnight. Add remaining ingredients, except avacado and refrigerate for an hour or so more. When ready to serve, stir in avacados and serve with toothpicks or on top of taco chips.
