How To Make scallops in blood orange sauce

1All all the ingredients for the sauce together in a saucepan. Bring to a boil lower the heat and simmer until reduced by about 1/2 about 7 minutes.

2Meanwhile get a skillet on the stove and get it hot. Pat the scallops dry and season with salt. Add the olive oil and butter to the skillet.

3Sear the scallops 2 to 3 minutes per side to get a brown crust.

4To serve ladle some sauce on the plate and top with the scallops.
