Ingredients For salmon egg rolls with maple reduction
- SALMON EGG ROLLS

1/4 csoy sauce

2 Tbspmirin

1 tspsesame oil

1 tspminced garlic

1 tspgrated ginger

1/4 tspsambal olek

43 oz portions of salmon filets

4 lgegg roll wrapper

2 Tbspolive oil
- MAPLE SOY REDUCTION

1 1/2 cmaple syrup
-
1 csoy sauce
-
2 Tbspdark brown sugar
How To Make salmon egg rolls with maple reduction

1Make the reduction Add the Maple Syrup, soy sauce and dark brown sugar to a saucepan. Bring to a boil watching that it don't boil over and reduce heat to low and let reduce by 1/2..Set aside to cool.

2Make the egg rolls Combine the soy sauce, mirin, sesame oil, garlic, ginger and sambal in a bowl. Add the salmon pieces and marinate 1 hour.

3Preheat oven 400 degrees. Lay out the 4 egg roll wrappers and a little dish of water and a pastry brush.

4Remove the salmon from the marinade and discard the marinade. Lay a piece of salmon on each egg roll. Brush the water around the edges. Fold up according to directions on the egg roll package.

5In a oven safe skillet add the oil. Once oil is hot brown the salmon egg rolls on all side. Place in oven and bake about 7 minutes.

6Remove from oven. Cut each egg roll in half diagonal and serve with Maple soy reduction. Garnish with chives if desired.
