Ingredients For prawn melts

  • 9 oz. small prawns, (shrimp)
  • 2 tsp. lemon juice
  • salt and pepper
  • 16 waqter cracker biscuits
  • 4 sandwich cheese slices

How To Make prawn melts

  • 1
    Reserve 16 shrimp for garnish and chop the remainder. Mix in lemon juice, salt and pepper.
  • 2
    Put a teaspoonful of mixture on each cracker. Cut cheese slice into quarters and place a piece over shrimp mixture then garnish top with a reserved shrimp.
  • 3
    Place under a hot grill til cheese melts and covers the shrimp filling. This will fix the shrimp garnish in place.
