My Dad used to love anything lemon flavored, from teas to entrees to baked goods. If it was lemon, it suited him well! I used to make this spread as an appetizer for many family get togethers, and particularly for his birthday. NOTE: May garnish with lemon wedges if desired. Imitation lobster or a combination yields tasty results as well!

Ingredients For lemony crab spread

1 lbcrabmeat (imitation, may use half crab, half lobster)

1/4 cchives (finely chopped)

1lemon rind, grated

4 tsplemon juice (fresh)

1 csour cream (may use nonfat or light if desired)

1/2 tspgarlic powder

1/3 cmayonnaise

1/2 tspsalt
How To Make lemony crab spread

1Separate crabmeat until finely shredded.

2In medium bowl, combine remaining ingredients. Add crabmeat, mix and chill (preferably overnight as the flavors mingle!)

3Serve with crackers.
