This was another appetizer that I used for catering parties and was a winner as there never were leftovers.

Ingredients For hot crabmeat dip

8 ozcream cheese, softened

1 tspdijon mustard

2 Tbspdry white cooking wine

3 Tbspmayonnaise

1/4 tspsalt

17 3/4 oz can of crab meat, drained and flaked
How To Make hot crabmeat dip

1Combine cream cheese, mayonnaise, mustard and salt in the top of a double boiler over simmering water. Stir until smooth and well blended.

2Add wine gradually, then add crab meat. Check seasonings and adjust as needed.

3Transfer to chafing dish (or sometimes I've used a fondue pot) and serve hot with melba rounds or toast triangles for dipping. Yield: about 2 cups
